Promoting excellence in nursing and midwifery through shared story-telling

The amazing Zambia Nurses and Midwives Ball and Awards Gala Dinner held every 1st Friday of December is back on 1st December 2023, hosted yearly by Nursemid Events.

Our Story

The first event was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka on the 6th of December, 2018. Only 7 guests were in attendance. 2 awards were given out with support from well-wishers. The second event was held in 2022 at Protea Hotel with an attendance of 37. The event has received progressive growth and this 3rd installment will be bigger than ever with 10 categories to choose from!

The Purpose

The awards want to recognize your excellence, innovation, and hard work in nursing and midwifery across different categories covering clinical practice, academia, research, and administration as well as recognizing nurses and midwives promoting entrepreneurship activities.

Awards Recipients

The awards are open to individuals and teams or nominations from those who wish to highlight a nurse or a team who they believe deserves recognition.
