Steadfast, Immovable & Abounding!

Over the last few years, many of us have been shaken to the core by the devastating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the loss of loved ones and livelihoods, wars, and rumours of war, and an economy that has us constantly adjusting our budgets! It’s almost as though the earth under our feet keeps shifting. Our Churches are plagued with strife, lukewarmness, and apathy. Challenges all around!

We are left wondering - what is going on? How do we navigate life’s challenges and be the women that God desires us to be? How do we hold on to God and not lose our footing because of what life throws at us?

In 1 Corinthians 15, the apostle Paul labours to affirm the doctrines that are central to our faith. Christ’s death, his resurrection, and victory over sin and death. It doesn’t end there, there is a ‘therefore’ that we must pay attention to. Given the certainty of Christ’s resurrection, we are exhorted in verse 58 to be Steadfast, Immovable, Always abounding in the work of the Lord.

We invite you to come and explore with us how we can be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, in a world where we are constantly tempted to falter.
